September News

Where has the summer gone? Our children are all getting ready to go back to school , some already in school , counting the days until the first break.

Now is the time their Grandparents are ready to go camping. And you all have been looking in August. We thank each of you for a good August. If you can say you have had a good month in these times, you are very fortunate . We do appreciate each of you for that good repeat business, and for you first timers. We trust we have earned you for a customer for life. That is how we strive.

What I will say is that we are going back to our roots. We have learned a good hard lesson in this economy. We have been in business since 1970, coming up on 40 years, and we have weathered many storms, but none like the year of 2009. We have learned many hard lessons. And if we can learn from those lessons we will be here for 40 more years. We are going to hold on to our people who have been with us most of those 40 years. We are trying to let the second generation take the steering wheel and drive this machine. We just want to be here to "have something to do." LOL Business is definitely changing and we must all change with it. I hope you never see this yard with 300 units on it again. 1. Number one lesson learned. So yes, we are going to be smaller. We have many 2010 units on order, but all are pre-sold. You customers have been very understanding about that. Selling from a book. It is working. And we thank you.

We are going to close for Labor Day week-end. This is a first for us. We feel it is time to enjoy what is left of the summer. We all have spent too many days and nights here worrying about what to do next. So we are going to enjoy much needed week-end off with our families. We hope for you all you do the same and have a safe holiday.
